VACS Central Service Team of the Year Award

The purpose of the VACS Central Service Team of the Year Award is to formally acknowledge a Central Service Department who has demonstrated commitment to service excellence in the area of performance improvement combined with cost containment, positive attitudes, and compassion while constantly striving to meet and exceed the wants and needs of Central Services customers. This award provides an opportunity for a technician, supervisor, or manager to recognize their Central Service Department. The winning department will receive a plaque, formal recognition at the Virginia Association of Central Services annual spring meeting, and the award winning essay and departmental photo will be posted on the Virginia Association of Central Services and International Association of Healthcare Central Services and Materials Management websites under Chapter News.
