The goal of VACS is to promote professional growth and development of Central Sterile personnel through continuing education. Our Association accomplishes this goal through:

• Networking opportunities – idea exchanges

• Use of web site to communicate programming

• Use of web site to provide links to other professional groups

• Providing certification opportunities through VACS scholarships

• Providing CEU opportunities through seminars

• Supporting the introduction of products and services through vendor involvement and contact

• Outreach to Central Sterile departments through out Virginia to offer membership and learning opportunities

• Establishment of a Vendor Sponsorship Program to highlight selected Central Sterile departments and share information about that facility on the web site
